Travis Kelce Spills On Taylor Swift's Sweet Plan To Help His Gameplay

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce confirmed in an interview that aired Tuesday that his pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift has drawn up a number of plays for him.

“I know none of the plays have gotten to coach [Andy] Reid yet but, if they ever do, I’ll make sure everyone knows it was her creation,” said the NFL tight end in an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

He later added, “She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me. So we’ll see if they can make it to coach Reid’s office.”

Eisen asked Kelce about Swift’s involvement in plays with a reference to recent comments Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made about the impact Swift has had on his team.

“She’s really interested in football and she asked a lot of great questions, she started drawing up plays so we might have to put one in,” Mahomes said in an interview with NBC’s Chris Simms.

Kelce, in his interview with Eisen, similarly revealed that the pop superstar has been “so open to learning the game” of football and tied the interest she takes in the sport to the attention she gives to her music career.

“I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it,” he said. “From the words to the music to, you know, even the releases and the music videos and everything, she’s so detailed and a part of it that I think she was just curious about the profession.”

Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, in a separate interview with Eisen, said he’s “not surprised” Swift is drawing up plays for her boyfriend.

“When you’re as talented as she is, I wouldn’t put anything past her. And the good news is, you know, Andy’s really open-minded, right?” said Hunt, who added that he’s cool with Swift suggesting plays.
