Seth Meyers Roasts Donald Trump’s ‘Professors’ Claim With Grade-A Punchline

Seth Meyers is actually down for former President Donald Trump’s smart-adjacent schtick.

“I like when Trump tries to convince us that he hangs out with academics, like when he said English professors love how he rambles incoherently as his rallies,” the “Late Night” comedian said Tuesday.

Trump, at a rally in August, boasted:

Meyers suggested, though, that Trump “probably just thinks anyone with an English accent is an English professor.”

“Some football hooligan probably once screamed, ‘Give the wankers hell, Donald!’ and he was like, ‘I will, professor, I will,’” he joked.
