A highlight reel shared by NBC Monday focused on the excellence of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team in their first competition at the Paris Olympics.

A few shaky moments and a Simone Biles injury scare gave way to some stellar moves captured in 100 riveting seconds of qualifying.

Watch the best of Biles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera and Jordan Chiles on a day when the squad outscored all other nations, heralding a potential gold medal in the team final on Tuesday.

Biles and Lee earned spots in the all-around final for a first-ever showdown between two Olympic champions in the event, in addition to qualifying for several apparatus finals.

Chiles finished an impressive fourth overall in the all-round but heartbreakingly will be denied a chance because countries are limited to two entrants. She will be in the floor exercise final, however.

Carey bounced back from a fall in the floor exercise to slay the vault and qualify in that individual final.
