This New Satirical Comedy Is A Top Show On Max Right Now

“The Franchise” is currently one of the most popular shows on Max, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

The new satirical comedy revolves around a film crew working on a second-rate superhero movie franchise. Released on Oct. 6, the series has received generally positive reviews from critics, many of whom noted its not-so-veiled references to Marvel Studios.

“The Franchise” stars Himesh Patel, Aya Cash, Jessica Hynes, Billy Magnussen, Lolly Adefope, Darren Goldstein, Isaac Powell, Richard E. Grant and Daniel Brühl. “Veep” creator Armando Iannucci is an executive producer.
