'Talk About A Self-Own!': MSNBC Host Taunts JD Vance Over Clueless Trump Claim

MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin mocked Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for an awkward attack on pop star Taylor Swift that sounded more like criticism of running mate Donald Trump.

Swift last week endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, triggering a meltdown in MAGA world ― including an all-caps message from Trump himself declaring “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Vance dismissed Swift as a “billionaire celebrity” who is “fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans.”

Mohyeldin laughed at the clip.

“I mean talk about a self-own! A billionaire celebrity who is disconnected from the interests and problems of most Americans?” he said. “Does he know who his running mate is?”
