Stephen Colbert Rocks Trump With 1 Solid Observation About His Brain

Donald Trump says he and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), aren’t weird ― but “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert found a curious choice of words in that denial.

“JD is not weird. He’s a solid rock. I happen to be a very solid rock,” Trump said on Fox News earlier this week.

Colbert broke out his Trump impression.

“A lot of people are saying ‘weird,’ that we have some weird ideas, but not true. Solid rock,” Colbert said, pointing to his head. “Right here. Right there. Igneous, baby. Igneous.”

Colbert also pointed to a problem with defending Vance from the “weird” rap.

“Of course, folks wouldn’t be saying JD Vance is weird if he weren’t so weird,” Colbert said, then offered up some specific examples.
