Stephen Colbert Names The 1 Damning Test Trump’s Wannabe VPs Must Pass

Stephen Colbert said Donald Trump is sending out bizarre fundraising emails “with a subtle note of mob violence,” including one with the subject line “HAUL OUT THE GUILLOTINE!”

And that’s not all the former president is up to.

“The Late Show” host said Trump is currently vetting potential running mates, sending paperwork to those under consideration to be his vice president.

“We have a copy of the first question,” Colbert said. “Complete the following chant: ‘Hang [YOUR NAME HERE].’”

Colbert noted that South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who made headlines after she released a book where she described shooting her dog, didn’t make Trump’s list.

“She tried her best,” Colbert said. “She even gave Trump puppy dog eyes. Literally. She sent him a box of puppy dog eyes.”
