Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill Detained On His Way To The Game But Still Expected To Play

Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, was detained by police on Sunday on his way to Hard Rock Stadium to play the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He was detained for a driving violation, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told reporters, according to Sports Illustrated.

Rosenhaus said Hill still plans to play in Sunday’s season opener.

“This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police,” <a href=«https://x.com/MiamiDolphins/status/1832796595152109572?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1832796595152109572%7Ctwgr%5E1259191d45902c9a4d02a4d8d675563171835294%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbleacherreport.com%2Farticles%2F10134637-dolphins-tyreek-hill-detained-in-handcuffs-by-police-for-driving-violation-on-video» target="_blank" role=«link» class=" js-entry-link cet-external-link" data-vars-item-name=«the Miami Dolphins wrote on social media» data-vars-item-type=«text» data-vars-unit-name=«66ddbf60e4b05e7aac7c0269» data-vars-unit-type=«buzz_body» data-vars-target-content-id=«https://x.com/MiamiDolphins/status/1832796595152109572?ref_src=» https: data-vars-target-content-type=«url» data-vars-type=«web_external_link» data-vars-subunit-name=«article_body» data-vars-subunit-type=«component» data-vars-position-in-subunit=«1»>the Miami Dolphins wrote on social media
