Mary Trump Scorches Cousin Eric Trump: 'Beneath My Contempt'

Mary Trump tore into her cousin Eric Trump over his attack on her brother — Fred Trump III — after Fred endorsed likely Democratic nominee Kamala Harris over Eric’s father, GOP nominee Donald Trump, in the 2024 election.

Eric Trump fumed about Fred being disloyal and tried to counter a claim in Fred’s new memoir, “All In The Family,” in which Fred alleged that Donald Trump once suggested that it would be better for people with severe disabilities to die, given the expensive care they require. Fred’s son is disabled. A Trump campaign spokesperson denied the claim.

Eric Trump said it was “disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to ‘cash in’ less than a 100 days before an election.”

“I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care,” he claimed. “To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister [Mary Trump] to simply earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of ‘no good deed goes unpunished.’”

Mary Trump, a fierce critic of her uncle, hit back on Thursday with a video to “set the record straight” over her cousin Eric’s claims.

Eric is “beneath my contempt,” she said, adding she couldn’t “allow this statement to go unchallenged, not only because it is full of lies and misinformation, but because he’s using his vast platform to punch down.”
