Donald Trump Groans About Goddaughter Of America’s Favorite Childless Cat Lady

Donald Trump made it clear even his fans aren’t free from his griping, as he wondered why supporter Billy Ray Cyrus has a “liberal daughter” during a speech over the weekend.

The Republican presidential candidate decided to make a snarky comment about pop star Miley Cyrus while giving a shoutout to her father, an outspoken conservative, at a conference for Bitcoin enthusiasts on Saturday.

“Billy Ray Cyrus is here. Where is Billy Ray?” Trump was captured asking in a video from the event. “He’s around here someplace, and he’s great. He’s a conservative guy.”

Trump couldn’t help but heckle the “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner’s daughter, Miley Cyrus, who sits on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

“I said, ‘How did you get such a liberal daughter?’” Trump riffed. “‘How had that happened, Billy Ray?’”

The “Malibu” singer has been outspoken about her disdain for the former president, calling him a “fucking nightmare” before he won his first term in office in 2016.

While Billy Ray Cyrus wasn’t given an opportunity to reply to Trump, recently leaked remarks from the country star seemed to reveal his harsh opinions about his daughter.

Billy Ray Cyrus appeared to refer to Miley Cyrus as “that devil” and “a skank” in audio secretly recorded by his estranged wife, Firerose, which emerged earlier this month.

While Trump’s sneering comment about Miley Cyrus seemed like typical fodder for the right-wing politician, some online had a rather interesting observation about the attack.

People pointed out how Miley Cyrus’ godmother, Nashville legend and childfree icon Dolly Parton, probably wouldn’t take kindly to Trump’s remarks, especially considering his running mate JD Vance’s problem with “childless cat ladies.”
