'Daily Show' Exposes 'Very Clear' Problem Trump Is Having With Kamala Harris

“Daily Show” correspondent Ronny Chieng offered up a damning summary of Donald Trump’s bizarre appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists convention on Wednesday.

“Trump was like, ‘Listen up, Black people: You’re always late, your microphones are ghetto and I’m Abraham Lincoln,’” he said, then added sarcastically: “I think he just won the Black vote.”

Trump indeed complained about the event’s delayed start and audio problems, and declared himself the best president for Black Americans since Lincoln.

Chieng, who is hosting this week, said that would be a low point for nearly anyone else.

“But because it’s Donald Trump, it somehow got worse,” he said, then rolled footage of Trump claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris was “always of Indian heritage” but then “happened to turn Black.”

“I think somebody should look into that,” Trump said.

“I don’t know what’s worse,” Chieng said. “That he thinks she turned from Indian to Black or that he thinks someone should look into that. Who should look into that? Does he think the FBI is the Federal Black Investigators?”

Chieng said Trump’s attack on Harris’ race and ethnicity on Wednesday, combined with his comments about her age earlier this week, can mean only one thing.

“It’s very clear that Trump doesn’t quite know how to handle Kamala Harris right now,” he said.
