BJP declares Dinesh Pratap Singh as Raebareli candidate for Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Who is he?

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday declared Dinesh Pratap Singh as its candidate from the Raebareli seat for the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Raebareli, a Gandhi family stronghold, has been won by former Congress President Sonia Gandhi four consecutive times. 

The BJP also fielded Karan Bhushan Singh from Kaiserganj. He is the younger son of former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the sitting Kaiserganj MP.

Raebareli has been the Congress' stronghold. Congress veteran Sonia Gandhi has been an MP from Raebareli since 2004. Earlier this year, she announced that.
