BJP declares Dinesh Pratap Singh as Raebareli candidate for Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Who is he?

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday declared Dinesh Pratap Singh as its candidate from the Raebareli seat for the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Raebareli, a Gandhi family stronghold, has been won by former Congress President Sonia Gandhi four consecutive times. 

The BJP also fielded Karan Bhushan Singh from Kaiserganj. He is the younger son of former WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the sitting Kaiserganj MP.

Dinesh Pratap Singh is a Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) and a BJP leader. He had fought the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from the y and was defeated by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi.
