Anna Faris Pokes Fun At Her And Chris Pratt’s Son, Jack — And It’s A Tad Embarrassing

Here’s hoping that Jack has the same self-deprecating sense of humor as his mom, Anna Faris.

The actor appeared on “Today ” Monday and was asked by co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Justin Sylvester about her parenting struggles, prompting them to note how quickly her son Jack, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt, has grown up.

“He’s amazing. He’s 11,” Faris said when Kotb asked how he’s been doing.

“You miss it sometimes when you look at old photos,” she said, reminiscing about her son’s childhood before implying that he is now entering a new phase in his development.

“I think I’m really loving this age. Although, he told me that he thinks he has an armpit hair. So, it’s happening,” the “Mom” star said.

As if a light crack about Jack going through puberty wasn’t enough to make her preteen’s cheeks instantly flush, the “House Bunny” star went on to call him out a little more.

When Kotb expressed anxiety over parenting, Faris responded by describing something that Jack routinely does that makes her a “little crazy.”

“‘Mom, where’s my backpack?’” Faris said, imitating her son. “When it’s like, right there … It’s like, how do I teach him how to just look?”

It seemed like Faris was done lightly roasting her son when Kotb mentioned the summer Olympics, and noted that Faris was a huge fan of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team — but no. Faris figured out how to zing Jack one last time when Kotb gave her an NBC gift basket filled with 2024 Paris Olympic swag. Faris took out a pair of socks from the gift basket.

“These would not fit Jack. He has, like, duck paddle for feet. … But they’ll fit me!” she said.
