A TikToker Said Hailey Bieber's Makeup Brand Lacked Inclusive Shades — And Her Response Says A Lot

After a TikTok user accused her makeup brand, Rhode, of not being inclusive, Hailey Bieber had a response people were not expecting.

In a now-viral TikTok video, beauty content creator Golloria called out the model’s line of blush last month for looking “ashy” on her darker skin.

“I bought these three shades because I feel like these would be the three shades that would work on dark skin,” the influencer explained in an Aug. 5 clip as she showed off the beauty brand’s shades “Juice Box,” “Spicy Marg” and “Toasted Teddy.”

After testing out the blush products, which were released earlier this summer, Golloria wasn’t impressed.

“I just feel like in 2024, if you’re gonna drop anything complexion, that it should be able to work for any skin tone and complexion,” she told her 2 million followers in the clip.

“Now, the ash was really serious,” she continued before concluding that Bieber’s line of blush “needs some work” to suit all skin tones.

Many of Golloria’s followers rallied behind her in the comments section.

“[It] actually seems super on brand for Rhode,” one person wrote of the skin care company, which launched in 2022.

Another argued, “Am I the only one who expects this from rhode?.”
