Stephen Colbert Pounces On Trump Over His 'Weird' Way To Brag About Economy

Stephen Colbert clowned Donald Trump on Thursday for his “weird” way of boasting about the economy during his administration.

“We had the greatest economy in the history of our country four years ago, seven years ago, six years ago and five years ago,” the former president falsely claimed at a campaign event in North Carolina on Wednesday.

“It reminds me of that classic joke: Why was 10 afraid of seven? Because four, seven, six, five.”

Colbert then turned his attention to Trump’s remarks at a Georgia rally on Tuesday and noted that the GOP nominee made a “strange confession” to his supporters.

“I find it very hard to sleep, I got so many ideas, I’m thinkin’ all the time,” Trump told the crowd.
