Seth Meyers Spots The Moment Donald Trump Came *ThisClose* To A Self-Discovery

Seth Meyers on Wednesday joked about former president and GOP nominee Donald Trump potentially becoming more introspective as the 2024 election nears.

“I didn’t think it was possible, but he seems to be engaging in some actual self-reflection,” said the “Late Night” host.

Trump this week admitted — not for the first time — that he has a “personality defect” about not liking people who don’t like him and that he gets along with “tough” people (like the world’s authoritarian leaders) better than “weak” ones.

“It’s weird to watch him come so close to a breakthrough and then bail,” said Meyers.

The comedian then mimicked Trump, “I always get along with the strong, the tough guys, maybe, maybe even a little too tough, maybe a little too strong, too mean, mean guys who are fathers, you could say. Fathers who are tough on their kids and make their kids sad.”
