Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the RSS has added two new faces to its top leadership, with the induction of Atul Limaye and Alok Kumar as sah sarkaryavah (joint general secretary), at its Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha that concluded in Nagpur on Sunday.

Days after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said a “true Sevak” does not have “ahankar (arrogance)”, senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar on Friday said Lord Ram limited those with “ahankar” to just “241 seats” (BJP won 240 seats) and those who opposed the Hindu deity were “stopped at 234”, referring to the BJP and the INDIA bloc respectively.
