Special Counsel Robert Hur released a report Thursday detailing President Biden's mishandling of classified documents but added there would be no charges, citing concerns over the president's mental fitness. Hur's scathing report dealt a major blow to Biden; however, former Whitewater Deputy Independent Counsel Sol Wisenberg argued on "Fox & Friends" on Friday that the more "significant" development from Thursday was the president "lied" about key details that Hur found.

Joe Biden, senior aides and political observers strongly criticised the special counsel, Robert Hur, for extensively discussing the president’s age and allegedly fading memory in his report on Biden’s retention of classified information from his time as a senator and as vice-president – which did not produce an indictment.
The special counsel Robert Hur’s contention that Joe Biden suffers from memory problems caused by advanced age prompted delight among the president’s Republican opponents – and pushback from Democrats pointing out how often Donald Trump has his own lapses, and how dangerous they are to the country.
It should have been a good day for Joe Biden. After all, no charges are to be filed against the US president after an inquiry into his mishandling of classified files. But the official report from Robert Hur, the special counsel at the Department of Justice, was devastating nonetheless.
